How to attach an existing role to a track without the role being changed. 

Use this approach if you want to attach an existing role to track without the role description changing. 

Step 1 

Navigate to the Job Track page and click on edit.

Step 2

Click on the gray "Actions" button the right side of the screen and click on "attach existing role"

 

NOTE: When a new Role Track is created, the system will optimize for "skill harmonization and skill progression" by adding two new skills per level and taking away two skills per level.  When you attach role using the method described above, skills will not be normalized and the number of common skills between roles will be reduced.
